Key points include: timelines as chronological guidelines, useful for litigation and negotiations, and Kristy’s 20+ years of expertise building them manually and with Goodfact.

Hi Everyone, it’s Kristy from Clearly Legal.

I wanted to discuss timelines with you today.

They are your “what happened.” They are your story. They are the chronology which, when prepared properly by a seasoned law clerk (me), helps you as a lawyer clearly see what happened and when.

Timelines are not only for litigation. They are also useful for:

  • File reviews

  • Big letters

  • Negotiations of any kind

  • Creating document briefs

  • Affidavits of documents

  • Speaking intelligently with your client to build a strategy

For more than two decades, I have created timelines for nearly every file — both litigation and non-litigation matters. I can build them manually or with specialized tools like Goodfact.

💡 Ready to Save Time and Money? If you are a lawyer, paralegal, or firm looking to streamline your litigation process, timelines are one of the most valuable tools you can have in your practice.
